HELP!! I need a Vlog topic!

I decided a while ago that I wanted to make a captioned vlog and if I happen to know the sign, I will use ASL as well. However, I am lacking the creativity to come up with a topic and the fact that I’m a little camera shy, believe it or not, is not helping :)

So, I am asking you if you could share what you would like to see me talk about.

Is there anything you want to know about me?
Is there anything regarding cochlear implants that you want me to talk about?
Do you want to know my opinion on a topic?
Do you want to know what kind of make-up I use, what kind of food I eat, and my pet peeves?
Feel free to ask me anything!

You get the idea! I am looking forward to seeing all your comments and I will appreciate every single one of them!

Hi Abbie!

Let's see... maybe to start with a little about yourself, and do you have sister or brother? Pet Peeves? Ohh.. tell it all! :-)

It doesn't have to be very long video, just start something and you will be more comfortable from there.

Look forward to your first video! :-D

If you could have gotten an implant much earlier in life, would you?

What's your favorite hangout on the weekends? (I love the jersey shore and the diverse places to hang out!)

What do you do professionally, do you feel your implant will help you succeed at work?

Well, you can talk about the origins of Valentine's day.

Or since you are confronting mathematical questions, tell us what you know about Einstein failing math in high school? :)

You gave me a good start! I'm off tomorrow (yay!) so I will try putting some together. I'm just not good at talking about myself. Thank you so much sweetie!

Great blog Abbie,

How about how you deal with the service sector; how do you tell someone you are 'still' hearing impaired even though you have an implant.

I find myself in difficult hearing situations even though my implant is a real 'gift'. Some of us are still getting used to our 'hearing' and we are still embarrassed sometimes to let people know we are still 'impaired' despite this expensive operation and cyborg implant.

Thanks for your blog, I read it everyday and enjoy your candid writings.

How about telling your sign language story. How did you learn the ASL that you do know? I think everyone who acquired ASL as a second language later in life has their own unique "sign language story." I suppose I should be sharing mine then huh?

Best to you...from another east coast gal..

You raised an excellent question, one I will answer. It is never easy trying to explain that I'm still deaf and I would love to brng that up! Thank you so much for your suggestion, if you have any more, keep em coming Bob and thank you for being a loyal reader!

My fair lady!

You may certainly give me a couple to start me off! You know, they have books of questions off of Amazon that would be just awesome for what you do!

As a new reader to your blog... umm....

I'd like to know about you! What are your hobbies, interests, etc...

Oh! You could tell us a funny story... or an embarassing moment... those are always great!

Next question is... where are your Vlogs? Am I missing them on here somewhere?
